A sign-off that points to something.

Give the final decision a clear reference. Review the exact release, keep outstanding feedback visible, and record who approved that version.

  1. Prepare the release

Open the intended website, image, or sanitized PDF release. Inspect its immutable evidence and outstanding threads before asking for a decision.

  2. Request a scoped decision

A project editor requests approval for that release. The reviewer must have verified participation and an active commenter grant on its review link; opening a shared link alone is not approval authority.

  3. Record the exact decision

An eligible reviewer approves the requested release. The decision records the actor and release, and does not resolve open feedback. Approved reviews stop new comments until an authorized reopening.

What to know before you start

A view-only guest or ordinary workspace member cannot approve merely because they can see the work. The server determines which request, approve, and reopen actions are available.

Review access remains bounded by expiry and revocation. A decision is not permanent access, a new project membership, or approval of every future version.
