Local data and recovery

Know what stays in the browser and what is durable on the server.

Drafts are not durable comments

The browser can persist review drafts while posted comments are durable server records. Local drafts are scoped to their review and identity. A legacy draft may require recovery before it can be assigned or submitted.

Reconnect without duplicating work

After an interruption, inspect the current server state and use the existing same-operation recovery path where offered. A timeout does not prove that nothing was saved. Keep the original draft until the result is known.

Export through the workspace

Use the real Export controls for the current document. If preparation continues on the server, close and reopen Export to check the same request. A locally downloaded file is your copy; it does not delete the server record.

Removal has a boundary

Clearing browser storage can remove local drafts and preferences without deleting server content. Use authorized workspace controls for server changes. This site offers no prototype JSON backup, universal offline mode or reset guarantee.
